Please find on offer a very scarce and wearable Silver English skull ring dating from the 1600s.
Typical early style which is reminiscent of the late Elizabethan rings.
The bezel shows a crude skull with the verse Die To Live around it. Basically meaning I am dying to live my life before I pass, the skull reminding the wearer that the end will come.
The band is a little thin but all strong and stable with no repair.
It came to me out a private collection so this is it's first time on the market for many years.
