Gorgeous English medieval bronze stirrup ring, circa 1300s and still retaining the original blue glass stone in its bezel. Recently acquired from an old Thames mud larker's collection and showing its original colour, although slightly dulled over time in the mud. It has not been over cleaned and has found.Excavated from the Blackfriars area in the 1980s.
