Dimensions 14" wide / 14" tall / 6" deep
A finely figured mahogany table timepiece, signed D J Parkes & Son, London,
The beautifully constructed drum head case with moulded rectangular base, cast brass bezel.
The circular silvered and engraved dial with Roman numerals signed to the centre, with cast brass silvered reflector ring.
Blued steel spade hands.
Rise and fall adjustment, with original key for adjustment and winding.
The substantial chain driven single fusee movement with deadbeat escapement with large brass pendulum bob and invar rod. All of our clocks have been sympathetically restored and have been expertly vetted for originality and good working order. All clocks purchased from us are guaranteed for two years.
Delivery and installation of our longcase clocks is carried out free of charge within the U.K. For overseas customers a fully insured door to door service is provided by our regular couriers, please contact us for a specific quotation.
