A good and very attractive late Georgian oak and mahogany eight day long case clock by John Elleby of Ashbourn.The painted dial with Roman numerals and delightful painted scene in the arch depicting a full hay cart with horses and workers returning home.Strikes the hour on a bell.The case of very good quality with inlay and mahogany cross banding.Fluted quarter columns.Swan neck pediment.
All in good working order.Excellent time keeper.
