British mid-century "Ladderax" shelving system.
Very flexible, teak veneer and black powder coated steel shelving uprights by Staples & Co., London 1960s.This stylish practical product was designed by Robert Heal (of the Heals store family) in the 1960s and manufactured in England.

This particular set is self-standing with two adjustable nylon pad feet to eack ladder, the feet being adjustable to counter any uneven flooring.
The set is in good condition with just a few marks from age and use and has been refurbished by ourselves
.
The sliding door storage unit comes with two original anti-tip hooks , that are discreetly attached to the ladders for extra stability and safety. There is a shelf which can be fitted to three different heights.
The chest drawers glide easily and a key is included for the working lock .
The smaller unit has again a working lock, and its interior lined with maple veneer.

Size 201cm height, width 215cm, depth of chest 41cm, depth of three shelves 35.5cm, depth of four shelves30.5cm.

If travelling by train , we can meet you at Norwich Station or more locally, Wymondham Station.
