A superb quality, attractive and locally made moonphase longcase clock by John Snelling of Alton, Hampshire. Fine quality five pillar movement striking the hours on a bell. The really pretty 12” dial featuring, seconds, calendar & moonphase, set off by decorative engraving. Blued steel hands. The high quality solid mahogany case, typical of the area, with Pagoda, long trunk door with moulded edge & choice veneer, and double plinth.
