Immaculate 18CT Gold Half Hunter Pocket Watch %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A lovely, very good quality, 18CT Gold Half Hunter Fob Pocket Watch in immaculate condition and working order.
The 18CT solid gold case stamped "18K" for 18 carat gold alongside the serial number 48535 and Swiss control marks. It also has the maker/importers stamp "CCE FRES" - I understand this may be for Joseph Auguste Clements watch importer of 11 Southampton Row, High Holborn, London.
The front of the case has the hours in Roman numerals in blue enamel. The rear of the case has engraved initials and the inner cuvette with the date engraved "11th August 1904". The watch most probably originally received as a gift to mark a special ocassion.
The very good quality, Swiss made movement is in good condition and working order.
The white enamel dial in excellent condition, with the hours in Roman numerals.
Overall a lovely example in excellent condition and working order.
The watch measures 35mm across the case. The weight is 38.8g
