Gents Roamer Searock wrist watch.
The watch has a good qualty 28-jewel automatic movement which is working nicely. This particular calibre of movement, the 471, was produced between 1965 and 1973.
The watch measures 37.5mm wide and 42mm high. The case is stainless steel. The front is in good condition while the screw-on case back has some scratching. The case back states that the watch is water resistant but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water. The winding crown has the Rotary logo.
The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in lovely original condition with original hands, red centre seconds and an early form of quickset date where the hands are moved backwards and forwards repeatedly between 12 midnight and 9.15pm until the desired date is reached.
The watch comes on a Rotary stainless steel bracelet which currently fits an 18cm wrist although there is capacity on the clasp to make it about 1cm bigger or 1.5cm smaller.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
