Impressively large French mahogany cheval or dressing mirror on stand c.1920. 26″x 58″ mirror plate with shaped top in a moulded frame. Angle adjustable on a matching stand with turned and reeded columns joined with a conforming top rail and low stretcher. Extensive brass mouldings and inlays across the frame and stand. Pineapple finials and brass pineapple locking screws. Raised on splayed feet for stability, with carved and brass inlaid detail front and rear. Original back panel. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
