A mid-Victorian Solid Silver Fusee Pocket Watch dated London 1859 and working well
Made By Famous London maker John Forrest of London makers to the Admiralty during this period
Fusee chain driven movement which is nice and clean and working well
Stamped on the watch plate the maker's name
With dust protection cover, this just sits over the movement the fasterner does not lock but really not important
Nice clear white dial with hardly any damage ,good size sweep second hand
Watch glass with a few age scratches but really nothing much
Watch case has polished up well and hinges all fine , just a couple of small age dent marks on the back of the case and usually pocket wear but again nothing much
All in All a great Victorian pocket watch for its age 161 years old
watch Size 52 cms across, comes with a watch key, II will try and find a much older watch key
