A very nice, Eight Day, Goliath Pocket Watch complete with a Silver Mounted, Shell fronted, Travelling Case.
The pocket watch case is base metal. The movement is an eight day Swiss made movement in excellent condition and working order.
The watch dial is in very good condition with the exception of a chip right on the edge between 0ne and two o'clock, bareluy noticeable with the front cover in closed position (see photo)
The travelling case is has a shell front with silver mounted edge. The silver hallmarked with the maker's mark "C&R/C" for Charles & Richard Comyns, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the London town mark and date letter "b" for 1917/18.
The case is in reasonably good condition with minor scuffs etc. The easel stand support is missing from the rear so it cannot stand independantly, the hinge is there so it could easily be replaced with something.
