A carved miniature alabaster Egyptian kohl jar with a tapering flat base and curved shoulder.

Middle Kingdom: Circa 2040-1782 BC.

Very Fine condition a tiny chip at the rim.
Height 34 mms (1.3 ins).

Provenance: Private collection, Zurich, acquired in 1975 when the owners lived in Cairo (1975-1980).
Bonhams London, Antiquities, 23 July 2020, lot 119 (part lot).

Antiquities are precious, and we send all items with insurance and tracking where possible, which is also reflected in the shipping cost.

An item found to be unsatisfactory may be returned to TimesAncient for a full refund within 14 days of receipt, provided it is returned in the same condition as sent.
