Edwardian Betjemann's Patent Tantalus
An early 20th century Betjemann's patent three bottle oak Tantalus.
The Tantalus has a oak frame with metal mounts, handle and a side lock.
The handle swings down to one side when unlocked to gain access to the decanters.
The three square hobnail cut decanters have cut round stoppers and sit in the three compartments, locked in place by the handle.
The side of the handle above the lock is engraved with a crown and 'Betjemann's Patent 29525 London'.
The decanters are in very good condition, the metal handle is engraved with 'MJ' or 'JM' depending how you read it.
The metal has some old marks from age but has a fully working lock and key. (Circa 1910)
