This Danish 1960s “Matador” three-seater sofa in very dark brown, buffalo leather, was designed by the architect / designer, Aage Christiansen for the producers, Erhardsen & Andersen, who stated in their original advert ‘Eran Furniture - Elegance, Comfort, Quality’ as they introduced this exceptionally iconic designer piece.
The deeply curved arms immediately identify the Matador design, the elegance of which is further accentuated with the sloping rear supports.
The quality is outstanding with the leather saddle-stitching down the arms and around all the cushioning is in exceptional, unrestored condition, making this sofa a truly standout piece of mid-20th century design.
In excellent condition throughout which again emphasises the quality of the item.
