A nice beechwood slope fronted child's school desk with a storage compartment under the hinged lid. A well made piece of solid construction from the 1950's. The piece has two holes for inkwells and a central recess for the pen tray. The stretcher has a lovely sloped foot rest which just finishes the piece off nicely.
