Unusual little carved and painted Gothic oak coffer c.1960. Ideal as a log box perhaps. Panelled lid over an elaborately carved front with Gothic tracery panels painted green and flanked with a pair of medieval figures on carved plinths. Side panels with pointed linenfold carving, also painted green. Panelled rear and solid oak frame with chamfered edges. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
