'burl' And 'root' Coffee Table
An amazing coffee table made from a section of tree cut in such a way to give an almost psychedelic effect. It stands on a 'root ball' base that is attached to the top by steel plates and a short section of tube. The top is finished with what looks like a resin coating giving it a high shine
almost a work of art, we assume it was made in the 1960's or 70's
it is extremely heavy, but the top and base can be separated for ease of movement
max dimensions of top 46 ins / 117 cms by 30 ins / 76 cms
height 19 ins / 48 cms
photo two gives the impression that a branch sticks out at the right hand side, but in fact is due to the angle the photo is taken and is on the ground towards the back
