Avalon Teak 1960s Bookcase / Sideboard / Cabinet
A nicely sized teak 1960s cabinet blending simple Danish-inspired design with a good combination of display and storage compartments. Made by British mid century manufacturer Avalon, the unit has a cupboard with drop down front, 2 drawers and a glazed display compartment with adjustable shelf. The cupboard was originally designed as a bureau with pigeon holes inside for stationery, but could be used for drinks or any other storage.
Dimensions: Width 114cm, Height 91cm, Depth 31cm.
The bookcase is in good vintage condition with minor signs of use. There are some small bumps on the top surface but these are minimally visible. It has been stripped, oiled and finished with protective wax. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
