Antique tortoiseshell mirror C1880

Dramatic tortoiseshell mirror with an ebonised ripple frame. Based on a Dutch design from the seventeenth century its bold design would make a statement in any interior.

Retains it’s original beveled plate which shows small signs of foxing. The mirror dates to about 1850.
