The watch has a good quality 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 22,584,195 which dates it back to 1919. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and it is hallmarked for Birmingham 1927, with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison, case manufacturer and supplier to Waltham UK.
The case and movement are not original to each other but the movement would have been housed in a Dennison case.
The case is in good condition with just light marking, nothing serious at all. Nice crisp engine turned detail to the hinged case back.
The watch glass is in good condition.
The signed dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
