This is an attractive and characterful Sanjabi Bag Face from North West Persia which dates from the late 19th Century. The bag face has a very colourful lattice design of hooked medallions and is framed by pretty stylised floral borders. It has some wear to one end and it has it's original closing lappets in good condition. The bag face has a good even pile and complete selvedges. It is a good size, measuring 110 cms by 88 cms and is clean and ready to display.
