Antique Georgian style deep buttoned leather ‘Porters Chair’ in excellent condition & with a fabulous colour to the leather.

I would date this chair to around the 1950’s period & we have just had the leather professionally polished to enhance the character. The inside of the canopy, the back & seat are all deep buttoned. There is hand studding all over & it sits on short bun feet.

It has a wonderful shape, looking good from all angles & is quite a statement piece. I think the general idea was to protect the back & neck from drafts.
