Very impressive large antique French Louis XV style console table in excellent condition & dating from around the 1950’s period.

This table has an inverted breakfront marble top which lifts off from the base. There is abundant marquetry & parquetry work all over & the main woods used are mahogany, satinwood & kingwood. There are painted porcelain plaques along the front encased in decorative gilt bronze mounts. The larger plaques are surrounded by gilt mounts with floral details. The four front legs are fluted with gilt bronze mounts at the top & gilt bronze feet. There are lower platforms which sit between each set of four legs, which not only look great, but also give the table more strength.

It’s a stunning looking table which has many fine details.
