A very fine quality high relief hand carved Indian sandalwood table casket/box with the exterior beautifully hand carved with three oriental female dancers to the hinged lid and floral decoration with shell boarders to each side. The casket is in perfect condition with the lock and key intact and on opening emits a beautiful aroma of sandalwood. We think the box was made in the late 19th or early 20th century and is one of the finest examples we have ever had.
