A lovely little Scottish longcase clock by Andrew Mackie of Fraserburgh, Scotland.
The case is in beautifuly figured mahogany with string inlay and some very decorative birdseye maple cross banding. It has some nice bobbin turned columns and a swan neck pedement with original brass patrea.
The good quality 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has a smart painted dial with subsidiary seconds and date dials. To the arch is a most attractive painting of a 3 masted sailing ship.
The case is in very good unrestored condition and has retained its original finish. The movement is in good working order and keeping good time.

211cm (83") high

25cm (10") deep
