A fantastic vintage writing desk in solid afromosia wood. This was designed by Richard Hornby for Fyne Ladye, it was made in England around the 1950-60’s.

The quality is amazing, this has a stylish and very practical design. It is elegant yet very study, sitting on beautifully tapered legs. There is ample workspace on the desk top, a back gallery with storage space and a drawer beneath the writing surface.

We have had this stripped and re-polished, the condition is mostly excellent for its age. The black vinyl top is clean and has been re-finished, there are some faint writing marks that can still be seen. The back is also nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item.
