1901 Patt Cutlass
This is a model 1901 pattern Royal Navy regulation navy cutlass used as a sea service weapon till the end of the Second World War . This was the last British Royal Navy cutlass. Leather grips held by rivets single edged heavy straight blade heavy sheet steel guard painted black the blade is straight no bends . griping is worn through use but solid to the grip.
