18th century Italian round giltwood mirror
Fabulous late 18th century Italian carved giltwood round console or overmantle mirror with lovely old mercury glass too, circa 1780.
This mirror has a good depth to the frame so it has real presence wherever you hang it.
The condition is good and the mirror glass has that smokey mercury finish.
Measuring:
38 inches or 96.5 cm maximum frame diameter
23 1/2 or 59.5 cm mirror glass aperture
5 inches or 12.5 cm frame depth Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
