The volume is fully bound in a fine leather with decorative blind stamped decoration to the front and back boards. The spine boasts further blindstamped decoration, gilt stamped decoration and a black title panel. The exterior shows shelfwear to the extremities (most notably a small tear to the leather at the top of the spine), and some rubbing to the boards.

All page edges gilt. Marbled pastedown and endpapers. Bookplate of 'Armytage' to the front pastedown. All pages remains clean and bright.
