Very large, late Georgian Mahogany chest of drawers (3 straight) circa 1820/30 on bracket feet. A very well made, heavy and solid piece of furniture, retaining its original pine panelled back and brass ware. The drawers are Oak lined, fine dovetailed jointed, clean inside and the runners and stays (which keep the drawers in the correct alignment) are all present and work well. The brass drop handles are original, large brass escutcheons, locks (no keys). This piece has had small amounts of restoration work in recent years and as a consequence, the polish finish is in good order with an all round even colour. Free from worm, damage and or large stains other than small old marks/scratches under the wax commensurate with age.
Presented cleaned and re-waxed.
