Here is a superb quality antique George III mahogany and gilt fret Chippendale style wall mirror displaying a deep rich colour, circa 1780 - 1820. The frame boasts an intricate hand carved mahogany and gilt frame in the style of the Chippendale period. The mirror features a carved gilded ho-ho bird / eagle pediment and a gilded mirror bead. The carving to the frame is crisp. To the back of the mirror, there is a hanging wire and the original chamfered pine back.

This item would look superb in several rooms from the hallway, bedroom or living room. This item would certainly grace any home and a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.

Condition Report
The frame and back is completely original without any damage. The glass has been replaced some time ago and shows no signs of foxing. There are no missing parts to the carved frame or gilding. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use. Overall, it this item is in excellent condition.

Delivery to any address in mainland England & Wales is £45. For delivery to Scotland & Ireland, please email for a quote. If you wish to avoid the delivery cost, you can collect the item in person. Delivery will be made by our own specialised furniture delivery service, or in some cases we will use a courier service for distant deliveries. We will inform you by email and/or telephone and provide you with full delivery details including when to expect delivery. Delivery times are usually 1-4 weeks (depending on location). We will contact you to arrange the delivery day please ensure you give us a contact number to aid the delivery process. Delivery includes insurance we can assure you that the packaging standard is second to none and will fully protect the item.

UK Returns & Refunds
A 7 day “no quibble” return policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. The buyer is required to cover the cost of return transit – the collection cost is the same as the delivery cost. You will be given a refund (excluding the delivery and collection cost) as long as the item is returned in the same condition. We will collect the item using our specialist Furniture Delivery Company to avoid any damage. We will not accept returns via a courier service due to experience of damaged items in transit. This refund policy only applies to deliveries to the UK.

UK Buyer Payment
For UK buyers, we will accept cash on collection or delivery cheque, credit card, BACS (free bank to bank transfer). Payment is requested within 5 days of the sale.

International Buyers
If you live outside of the UK and you would like to purchase this item please contact us before purchasing the item to obtain a shipping quote and delivery lead time. A returns policy is not available for international buyers. We will accept payment by bank transfer. Payment is requested within 10 days of the purchase.
