Description

A good quality early 18th century carved oak chest on a stand with ten drawers. This piece has a beautiful colour throughout and has been lovingly polished to enhance the wonderfully carved drawer fronts, sides, legs etc. The upper section can be removed for easy transportation this has three graduated long drawers with a pair of smaller drawers above and two tray size drawers in the middle. The lower base stand has three similar drawers all nicely carved with brass pull handles and escutcheons. Please note that we do not have a key for the locks, also there are some losses to the drawer edges, please see the images. circa 1740-50
