Barbers Cabinet

Description

This is part of the entire stock of decorated antique and vintage furnishings we have recently purchased due to a signwriters bereavement. Although some of his inventory is genuine we suspect most is by his own hand. There was no one to give us any information some are cataloguing most as painted later. We believe that Smithdown Place Liverpool was the original barber shop in question with regards to The Beatles song Penny Lane and the cabinet we can guarantee as being post 2nd World War probably late 1940's to early 1950's. Whatever it's history it is certainly an interesting piece and a great talking point whether for a business or private home. Aside from obvious wear to the paint it is in generally good condition.
