Description

A French Louis XV period painted Buffet dating from c 1750. The planked top with curved corners above three short drawers, with original iron handles, and three cupboard doors with shaped panels. Shelved interior and serpentine sides. Typically Louis XV in style, a provincial item robust construction, thick boards and very heavy. The painted decoration is almost certainly later in date. The two larger cupboard doors have working locks with a single key. In nicely distressed condition.
