Description

A French 1st Empire ( Napoleonic) period flame Mahogany Sewing table dating from c 1800. The hinged rectangular top with gilt brass moulded edge containing a mirrored interior ( original ) above a dummy drawer above two drawers and raised on X frame supports. Decorative original gilt brass mounts, handles and escutcheons throughout. Excellent original condition with various minor marks, scratches etc consistent with age and use.
