Farmer Watering Horses

Alexander GRANT RSA Exhibited 1880-1881

Oil Painting

A really very pretty oil by Alexander Grant depicting a farmer cooling off his horses on their way home from a hard days work. Grant shows his skill here as a landscape and figure painter. He was known in his native Scotland for work in this genre and exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy in the late 19th Century. This is a good example of his work

CONDITION

In fine condition, framed to complement the painting. Ready to hang
