Description
Court of the Kings Bench Document dated 1815 in the Reign of George IV.William Halcomb, of Marlborough, in the County of Wiltshire, Gentleman, instructed Richard Melford, John Phillipson & Charles Bishop, Attornies of the Court in an action of a Debt for Eight Thousand Pounds on a Bond at the suit of John Halcombe, the Younger, (William's brother) of the same place, Gentleman and Joseph Gilbest, of Beechen Stoke in the said County, Esquire.
Printed Letterpress and Handwritten in English, onto laid watermarked paper. Has a One Pound Embossed Duty Stamp and a 3 half pence Paper Tax Duty Stamp Franking with G R, Wazrant of Attorney, under the franking. The Wax Seal of William Halcombe and is witnessed by Richard Melford and John Phillipson, Attornies.
