Description
Italian Security Printed Chemist Label of circa 1850's. The label reads 'Ororato Battista, Napoli, Italy. Brand guarantee deposited - counterfeiters will referals the rule of law - and 'Of Marchino - filed warranty counterfeiters will be referred by law'.The wording around the person on the label states Preparation Original Phamacist'
Chemist labels were Security Printed for various companies to try to stop counterfeiters, as this label so obviously states.
Although printed in Italian, the label was most probably printed in the UK. Printers unknown.
