Victorian Theatre Playbill form the Royal Amphitheatre, Great Charlotte Street, Liverpool. - Dated 1861. The Theatre was bought in 1826 by John Cooke for his Circus Shows/Equestian, Plays, Operas and Concerts. In 1881 the building was re-designed by Henry Summer and was re-opened as the Royal Court Theatre. The playbill is printed Woodtype and Metaltype.
