Monmouth/Salop Obligation Bond dated 25th June 1774 in the Reign of George III, Between, John Higgs, late of the Parish of Claverley in the County of Salop, but now of Lanrumney Mill, in the Parish of St. Melan's, in the County of Monmouth, South Wales, yeoman. Was held and firmly bound to Thomas Bowen of the Parish of Worfield in the said County of Salop, yeoman, in the sum of Three Hundred Pounds.

Printed and Handwritten in English onto watermarked (Crown and Royal Coats-of-Arms),Laid Paper.
Has an Embossed Duty Stamp for I Shilling and a Nice Paper Tax Duty Stamp. The Wax Seal of Johmn Higgs
