Made out of country oak
This is so heavy I think this could be bog oak
Dates 1630-1660
This alms box has faint paint work on it
One side depicting a scull and cross bones
The other side anvils
Colour med oak
Original hinges
One metal ring on side where it would have been chained to the church wall
Rose head nails
