Description

CODE 0158

This is a superb Victorian c1880 Mahogany bow fronted tall shop, museum display cabinet. The cabinet stands on four cabriole legs. It is accessed by a single rear door with mahogany frame, which has a working lock with key and brass catches and hinges. The inside of the cabinet has two glass shelves which sit on adjustable cast brackets. The top of the cabinet also has glass allowing for plenty of light. The bow front glass and both side pieces of glass have a toughened film over them labelled Madico Film and is to British standards, which is to both protect and toughen the glass. In the bottom of the cabinet is a beige hessian type material, this could be easily replaced if not to your liking.

Condition The Cabinet is in fantastic condition obviously there is the odd bump or bruise as you would expect through use and due to age but nothing that requires mentioning, there is the odd nibble to the back of one of the shelves and some very fine minor scratches again as would be expected and need to be accepted. The glass to the front and sides all good due to the protective film.
