Description

This beautiful set of 19th century Italian carved walnut armchairs feature pierced and carved cresting rails, supported on ornately carved front cabriole legs with shell detail and swept back legs. The worn cut velvet upholstery is original, covering both the seat and the back rest. Each chair measures 25 1/4 in - 64.1 cm wide, 24 in - 61 cm deep and 47 1/2 in - 120.7 cm high from the back. These chairs would make a fine addition to many different rooms and an excellent focal point to a period setting.
