A beautiful gilt lacquered brass unused 1950s Stratton powder compact. This delightful compact mirror is suitable for all loose foundation or as a handbag mirror.

This compact was made by the premier British maker, who named this model the Stratton Star. The gilt lacquered finish applied by the maker ensures that this accessory will not tarnish or need to be cleaned. The mirror gives a good clear reflection.

All clasps and hinges work exactly as they should. The original box, beige felt pouch, signed puff, sifter and information leaflet are present.
