An exceptionally fine quality Jaeger LeCoultre "Star" Art Deco mantel clock c1930s.

A very rare and fine quality antique Jaeger mantel clock in very good condition.

Conditional notes, some discolouration to 12 o clock marker, sun and moon motifs on hands showing some flaking.

One of the rarest of all Jaeger clocks, who are rightly called "The Rolex of Clocks", such is the quality of their movements.

This is an 8 day movement which has been recently completely serviced and overhauled by an experienced Horologist.

In full working order it has also been timed, so that the movement will keep the most accurate time it can.

More desirable light face models, the hour markers protruding somewhat from the frosted glass back plate, the numerals are very much in the Art Deco taste.

A rare and desirable clock whose value can only increase, whilst being enjoyed for the stunningly beautiful piece it is.

Stands 25cms tall by 21cms wide, that's 7 1/4" high and 6 1/2" wide for our friends over the pond.

Returns will not be accepted for an item not fitting, colour, change of mind or anything already described or discussed so it is important that you check any details you need to prior to purchase.
