Stunning late 19th century Vienna KPM porcelain plaque dating from c.1887 of The Pentitent Magdalene after the paintings by Friedrich Heinrich Fuger and Correggio. A beautifully painted tile featuring Mary Magdalene lying outside against a rocky background, naked save for a gorgeous rich blue fabric swathed around her. She is reading a book by lamplight, with a small lamp next to her. Impressed KPM and sceptre mark to the back along with the measurements 7 3/4" and 5 1/4".

It measures 20.3cm (8") by 14cm (5 1/2"). Condition is excellent, any marks that appear in the photos are just reflections.
