12” Railway Fusee Dial Clock

Description

A good 12” flat dial, fusee wall clock signed T.Martin & Co., 15 Regent Street, London. The clock has its original vitreous enamel plate with the number 2993, which shows that the clock was sup-plied to the London and North Western Railway (see additional image). The dial has its original dial paint that has never been altered by the railways writers, which was often the case. 8 day chain fusee movement, mahogany case with locking bottom door and cast bezel. Original blued steel spade hands.
