French 8 day Japy Freres & Cie striking mantle clock in very good original condition. The French 8 day, round plate movement striking the hours on a gong is in good working condition. The walnut case stands 14 inches high on brass feet, is excellent condition for a clock approaching 200 years old, and is complemented by a 4 and a half inch silvered dial with black Roman numerals behind a convex glass in brass bezel.
