Antique 15ct Gold Ruby & Pearl Ring Victorian Shaped English Ring circa 1870

Beautiful Victorian Ruby & Pearl ring
This marquise shaped ring is centred with a gorgeous rich red ruby
It is surrounded by eight wonderful creamy white pearls
This ring is hand crafted in 15ct yellow and rose gold
The stones are bezel & peg set with pretty chassed star pattern around the circumference
The back is closed in typical Georgian / Victorian fashion
The yellow gold shoulders are beautiful scrolled
The attention to detail continues down the beaded rose gold shank
This fabulous ring looks so lovely when worn

· The head is 11.7 mm x 8.5 mm. Ruby is 2.5 mm

· 5.5 mm wide at the top of the shoulder tapering to 2.5 mm at the base of the shank.

· It is stamped 15 ct with the makers mark H & S.

· It dates to the mid Victorian period circa 1870

· Size P (UK). 8 (USA) it would easily re size (evidence of historic re sizing).

· It weighs 2.7 grams

· This is a genuine antique ring that is in excellent condition.
