A late 19th century English Victorian Gilt Framed Overmantle Mirror, circa 1870.The wooden moulded frame with an arched top, on a simple moulded base with shaped extensions to the sides.
Original water-gilding in wonderful antique condition showing the red bole underneath, with original backing boards and mirror plate.
W 113cm x H 65cm x D 6.5cm
Condition: Original water-gilding in wonderful antique condition, typical wear to the gold leaf showing the warm red bole underneath and minor chips to the finish as seen in the images. This mirror will add a heap of character and warmth to any interior.
